今天, at an event hosted by the Saudi Embassy, I had the opportunity to speak with a senior officer from TV Alhirah about AI 智能体.
I shared what we are working towards: AI 智能体 that can 实时 inside servers, PCs and machines, not simply waiting for instructions, but continuously working towards human-defined goals and intentions.
I described it simply:
“It is like having someone inside your server, always working for you.”
On my way home, another thought crossed my mind.
As AI 智能体 become increasingly autonomous and capable of communicating and collaborating with other agents, what happens when guardrails 失败?
This is why I believe a kill switch must be built natively into every autonomous AI agent — and eventually become a standard engineering practice across the industry.
We can continue building more capable and autonomous AI.
But humans must always retain the final authority to stop it.
构建 the agent. 构建 the intelligence.
But never forget the kill switch.
